Each nomination is carefully reviewed by the Louisville Tourism Nomination Committee—a panel of respected hospitality and business leaders. The judging process ensures fairness, integrity, and a deep appreciation for the stories behind each nominee.

• Quality and detail of the nomination
• Specific examples of exceptional service
• The nominee’s ability to project a positive image of their company and of Louisville
• Additional insights or supporting materials submitted

Finalists are selected based on these criteria and then invited to participate in the public voting phase.

Once finalists are announced, the committee conducts a second round of evaluation to determine the winners. This final decision is based on:

• Public Support – Number of public votes received
• Impact – Influence on guests, coworkers, and the community
• Nomination Strength – Quality and depth of the nomination
• Core Values – How well the nominee exemplifies the organization’s guiding principles and mission
